More than 200 types of birds, 35 mammals, 150 species of butterflies, 140 species of orchids and much more to enthral you. There are many things to do in the Gavi forest, such as visiting Sabarimala viewpoint, boating at the Gavi lake and the exciting Angamoozhy Jungle Safari Experience. The safari takes you to the centre of the eco-tourism that is Gavi. The 50 plus kilometre trail is mostly through forests and can be enjoyed in an open jeep. The route is breathtaking with glorious greens adorning every inch of the way.

Other animals that you can spot are bison, deer, lion-tailed macaque and if you are really lucky then jungle cats and the grand tiger.
